Understanding Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

How to improve your site's rank and visibility on the search engine - SEO is often referred to as natural, organic, or acquired search engine results. This differs from search engine marketing (SEM) where your site is ranked and your search engine results appear. The goal of improving your site’s rank and visibility on the search engine - SEO is to increase the ranking of your website or webpage in unpaid search engine results, against none. SEO makes changes to your website to naturally attract traffic and website data.

SEO is the digital version of PR in the "real" world.

One thing to remember is that SEO is always changing, Google, Bing, and Yahoo are constantly changing how websites are ranked.

To determine whether or not you must follow the SEO strategy, look at your ability to be ranked or placed on the first page.

How does SEO work?

The higher the results list on a site, the more viewers will visit it. Visitors can turn into customers, so improving your site’s visibility and ranking in search results can be a big help. Everyone who uses the Internet also uses search engines.Search engines answer questions and offer solutions to problems. If you can improve your search engine ranking and visibility, your product or business may be the answer, and the solution people find

Statistics say only about 71% of people searching click on first page results. This means that if you want to capture search engine clients, you must be ranked and seen on the page. The more relevant your site is searched for, the closer it is to the top. Unlike paid search ads, these results are not affected by payment in any way. Because improving your site’s rank and visibility on the search engine - SEO is not paying money, this channel (or method) is often low-cost. Although very competitive, SEO can be well optimized at any stage.

SEO amplifies all other attraction channels. So, whatever you do already to gain attractive power will help you improve your site’s rank and appearance on search engines. To get a SEO, you need to start with a content strategy. The content strategy is to plan, develop, and manage your content. If the content on your site is good, improving your results will be easier and more effective. The better your site, the better your ranking will be in results.

Algorithm

Each search engine contains an algorithm that tells you how to rank websites and pages. This algorithm is what you try to answer and solve. Understanding all the essential aspects of the algorithm will help improve your site’s rank and appearance on the search engine - SEO. Algorithms search for words, addresses, links and the reputation of your page. If you understand these four groups, the search engine places your site at the top of the list.

We divide SEO into two things: content and links. The links between the sites are the SEO coin. So how do you get the most out of both the content and links on your site?

Let's start with words.

  • Words

Search engines count every word on the Internet. This way, when someone searches, they can only return results related to those words. So pay attention to every word on your web pages. The words that you use on your page will affect whether the search engine sees them appropriate to its search terms.

You should also think about the title of your webpages. Every page on the web contains a title. It may not be viewed at all because it is hidden in the code. Search engines pay a lot of attention to words in page titles. These headings, even in coding only, are often the aggregate of what the page is all about. The title of the page is similar to the title of the book in this way.

  • Links

Links between websites are very important. When one webpage contains a link to another webpage, it indicates that the link contains good information. A webpage with many links shows your page to search engines that others trust, and shows that your page has good information. Don't try to buy links or try to trick the search engine in any way because your site will be penalized. Search engines can see the real and purchased links. In algorithms, fake linked pages will be less valuable than real pages. Trusted sites have value.

The words in the links tell the search engines a lot about your site. Words that act as a link say something about your site's content. The more your site relates to a word or phrase, the better your ranking will be if the word / phrase is searched. The words in the links display what your page relates to search engines, or also what searches are related to your page.

Note: As of December 2018, links have become less important but are still valuable. Try to get only high quality natural links.

  • Reputation

Search Engines are a way to make your website reputable as well. They care if your site contains a record of new, engaging, and interactive content. If the number of quality links for your site grows (quality links mean good links to your site), you can be considered a rising star. This will help you achieve good results in search engine results. The better you are, the better your results. The better your results, the better known you will be. The best known websites will go to the top. For example, if you search for "books", Amazon.com is among the top five. Amazon is one of the most well-known sources of book buying in the USA.

The two main SEO strategies

The first strategy is called the Big Head strategy. This increases your site’s ranking or ranking according to the search terms that directly describe your company. For example, if your company manufactures wooden beds, it will try to rank you well or arrange for the search term "wooden beds". To find search terms that you should target, search for terms that people search for to find industry products. If the search volumes for this term are large enough, then this is an opportunity worth seeking. If the term does not provide enough and large search volume, it is not worth the time. If you do not get an attraction from a term, stop following that term. Settle down the terms that increase the number of customers and then rotate your site around the terms you choose and get other sites to link your site to.

Long Tail Strategy is SEO's second strategy. This strategy involves trying to rank or rank your site according to terms with fewer search volumes. Instead of ambiguous search terms, you aim to narrow searches at lower volumes. This depends on your product providing unique demand.

An example of a long tail search is “private luxury Morocco tourism tours” instead of just “Morocco tours”.

Create articles with content that people will specifically search for. It is good and useful to use content that flows naturally from your business.
